Governor announces judicial appointment of Rebecca Duffin
SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced the appointment of Rebecca Duffin to fill a judicial vacancy at the Third Judicial District Court in Las Cruces.
Duffin has served as the presiding magistrate judge in Doña Ana County for the past five years handling civil, criminal and traffic cases.
Previously, she spent six years as an assistant district attorney in Las Cruces. Duffin is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College and the Chapman University School of Law. She was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in 2010.
Duffin’s appointment begins Feb. 17, 2024.
