HAPPENING FRIDAY: Governor to sign medical malpractice reform and other health care legislation

SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham will sign House Bill 99 — the medical malpractice reform bill — House Bill 4, House Bill 306, and Senate Bill 101 at the Valencia County Hospital construction site in Los Lunas. State lawmakers and medical leaders will also participate in the bill signing ceremony.

Friday’s bill signings mark a major milestone in a years-long effort by the governor and New Mexico Legislature to expand health care access and contain rising medical costs.
